I’m addicted to Gadgets, but I’m also addicted to Travel. This is probably the main reason behind my passion for photography, video edition.
I remember playing with my dad’s old photo camera, with films and the manual mechanism to push the film. Also, I remember the waiting time to the photos gets revealed, it was exciting.
Years after I bought my first digital photo and video camera. The possibility of seeing the photos taken minutes before was the big change. Of course, people still saying the true photography was the old one, and that now everything is digital and anyone can take good photos – and I ask, is that a bad thing? Surely not.
How many times you were traveling and something happened and in a super quick way, you just got the perfect shot. This is possible because nowadays there are several portable photo/video gadgets. This makes possible you to have the amazing scenic landscapes that you will show to everyone in social networks, leaving everyone to live the same moment you.
Mainly, my travel gadgets are about photo/video but I also take another kind of gadgets with me.
Most of my gadgets in this category have inbuilt Wi-Fi, a must while traveling. This way you don’t need to manually copy all the files to the computer and only after to the phone to share on the social networks – you just connect your iPhone to the device and the content is available to share – quick and easy.
– SJCAM 4000 WIFI (Action Camera)
Cheap alternative to the GoPro cameras. 1080p 30fps or 720 60fps. Waterproof.
– Panasonic Lumix GF7K (Mirrorless Compact Camera)
High standard video and sound quality. Tilt touch screen for Selfies. Inbuilt Flash. Automatic and Manual modes.
– Parrot Bebop 2 (Drone)
This is my baby. The possibility of having a different view of the sky is something beautiful and a great souvenir to take home. Cheap alternative to the DJI drones and it comes with the FPV glasses. Each battery is around £40-£50.
– iPhone (Smartphone)
Who travels without the iPhone? I bought the 128GB version, that way I don’t have problems with space.
– Kindle (E-book reader)
Lightweight and portable, this changed the way I read. The screen without artificial light is so good and makes a lot of difference to the eyes. Also, you can carry several books without thinking about airlines weight limitations.
– TaoTronics Bluethoot Headphones
No messy cables in the bag. Takes around 3 days to uncharge.
– Gamevice (Controller for iPhone)
Check my post about this controller – unboxing and review. Really good option for gaming while on a plane.
